Skoda Favorit LX 1.3

Iconic Skoda Favorit in excellent visual and mechanical condition. The car has been garaged since new and not used in winter, which has allowed it to remain free of any signs of corrosion. The chassis looks like that of a nearly new car, with the bottoms of doors and fender edges rust-free. The car has original factory paint on all elements (except for the corner of the front left fender – damage from parking was repaired in spots and painted ‘neatly’ probably with a brush or roller by the previous owner 🙂 ) Besides that, there are visible scratches on the left side at the bottom of the front and rear doors (it seems an elderly gentleman ran into something). Mechanically, the car has been regularly serviced and is fully ready for further driving. Recently, among other things, the starter, alternator, belts, filters, oils, ignition system, rubber suspension elements, and boot covers have been replaced.
The interior is in excellent condition and looks like new. The only flaw is a tear on the side of the driver’s seat.
The car is prepared to take part in this year’s Złombol rally to the Chalkidiki peninsula in Greece and back (starting on 01.09.2018r.).
We had a dream to drive a Polish Polonez, but we could not ignore this beautiful Skoda. If it sells, we will be looking for a Polonez. If not, we are going with the Skoda because we are 100% sure of its excellent mechanical condition. The engine starts on the first try and runs very dynamically and smoothly. The car has valid OC and a fresh technical inspection valid until 2019 (the inspector couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw the chassis!). If someone purchases this model with the idea of participating in Złombol, we guarantee inclusion in our team during the rally 😉
Apart from Złombol, it is a great car for everyday use. It has no rust, is strong and dynamic. It will definitely serve for many years, and if it can be kept in such good condition, its price will certainly rise.
It is all in original condition, with a few small visual flaws resulting from use by an elderly driver. Mechanically, it is perfect. As a curiosity, we’ll reveal that it has been garaged throughout its life under… a military parachute 🙂 (instead of a blanket;) )
